Alok Rungta is the Managing Director & CEO of Generali Central Life Insurance Company Limited (GCLIC) and is instrumental in transforming the Generali Central India Life’s vision of being a lifetime partner amongst all the internal and external stakeholders. Mr. Rungta is a veteran in the Insurance and Financial Services Industry with more than 25 years of experience. He has led executive roles across insurance companies in the Philippines, Hong Kong, and India. His deep industry knowledge of the Indian insurance market makes him a proven leader. He has spearheaded numerous strategic initiatives in the following areas: - Leading transformational digitization initiatives within the organization - Growing a profitable distribution operation - Sales innovation for acquiring and retaining customers - Cultivating a high-performing workforce by investing in employee’s growth path Mr. Rungta is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a bachelor’s in commerce from Mumbai University.
Aditya Mall is the Appointed Actuary at Generali Central Life Insurance Company Ltd., a position he has held since February 2023. In this role, he leads the actuarial function, focusing on policy offerings, regular valuations of policyholder liabilities, and ensuring the protection of policyholders' interests. Prior to this appointment, Aditya served as Vice President, Actuary, at Generali Central Life Insurance, contributing to the company's actuarial strategies and operations. He joined the company in 2015 and has been instrumental in its growth and transformation. Aditya is a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of both the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK, and the Institute of Actuaries of India. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, Finance, and Taxation from St. Xavier's College.
Dinesh Arora is the Senior Vice President and Head of Internal Audit at Generali Central India Life insurance Company Limited. Dinesh joined the company in August 2016 and comes with 16+ years of experience in various business areas like, Internal Audit, Risk Management, Operations and Sales Strategy. At GCLI, he is responsible for preparing and implementing a risk-based audit plan to assess, report on, and make suggestions for improving the company’s key operational and financial activities and internal controls by giving an objective and evidence based opinion on all aspects of governance, risk management and internal control. He also plays an important role in delivering the organization’s strategic objectives by championing best practice in governance and objectively assessing the adequacy of governance and management of existing risks. Dinesh is a Chartered Accountant and a Certified Internal Auditor. He has previously worked in PwC, KPMG, Aviva Life Insurance and PNB MetLife prior to joining Generali Central India Life.
Geetanjali Chugh Kothari is known for innovation and strategic thinking in marketing and communication. She comes with incredible industry experience establishing herself as a prominent thought leader. Currently, she is the Chief Marketing Officer at Generali Central Life Insurance. Prior to this, Geetanjali was with Bharti AXA Life Insurance for over 11 years. Under her leadership, the company witnessed exceptional growth and garnered numerous accolades in marketing campaigns. Her ability to navigate challenges and capitalize on opportunities has earned her a reputation as a result-oriented marketing leader. As the Chief Compliance Officer, he leads the Compliance, AML, and Fraud Control Unit. Manish has a proven track record of establishing robust legal and compliance frameworks from inception, having held senior leadership roles at Navi General Insurance, One97 Communications, and Generali Central India Insurance (General Insurance). His expertise spans regulatory compliance, corporate governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement, with deep knowledge of IRDAI, RBI, and MCA regulations. He is a qualified Company Secretary (ACS), Law graduate (LLB), and a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India (FIII). Mohit Sharma is the Executive Vice President and Head of the Direct Sales & WIN (Women-In-Insurance) channels at Generali Central India Life Insurance. With an impressive 25 years of diverse professional experience, Mohit has established himself as a dynamic leader with a proven track record of driving growth and innovation. At GCLI, Mohit has transformed the Direct Sales channel into one of the fastest growing and a highly profitable business that contributes handsomely to the organisation’s topline and bottom-line objectives. He has always been an early adopter for leveraging new technology and digital transformation to streamline processes, enhancing efficiency, and achieving scalable outcomes. He is also responsible for shaping strategic initiatives that focus on customer acquisition, retention, and creating sustainable value for stakeholders. Prior to his tenure at FGILI, Mohit held key leadership roles at ICICI Prudential Life, TATA AIG General Insurance, and Bharti AXA Life Insurance, where he played instrumental roles in setting up and scaling successful business channels. He is a Mechanical Engineer and has done his M.B.A (Marketing) from the S.P Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai. Nilesh Parmar has more than 25 years of experience in strategic planning, operations, technology, risk management, re-engineering and process improvement, service delivery and change management in the banking and insurance domain, providing value through reduced cost and enhanced productivity. He has proven skills in driving technology and digital led transformation, process improvement through Six Sigma, outsourcing, right-shoring and automation. He is also well versed with setting up and leading BPO operations and adept at building, mentoring and managing large teams across geographies. Before joining Generali Central Life Insurance, Nilesh was the Chief Operating Officer with Edelweiss Tokio Life Insurance for 7 years. He has been instrumental in improving quality metrics at ETLI and implementing digital technology solutions for both sales and operations. Before Edelweiss Tokio, he was with HSBC for 18 years leading various transformation initiatives and running/scaling up operations. He is a graduate from IIT Mumbai and a postgraduate from IIM Ahmedabad. Rajeev Chugh has been serving as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Generali Central Life Insurance Company Ltd since 2024. Rajeev leads the Company's overall financial direction, including financial strategy, financial planning, financial control, taxation, administration and procurement, leveraging his extensive expertise and experience in the aforesaid areas and providing leadership within the organization. Rajeev brings more than two decades of finance leadership experience across the insurance sector. Prior to this, he served in senior finance leadership roles including CFO and Head of Financial Control in insurance companies locally and internationally, where he led financial strategy, financial planning & analysis, management reporting, financial reporting, financial control, taxation, strategic cost management, business partnering, compliance and governance. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated expertise across diverse areas in strategic financial planning, financial control and business partnering. In his role as CFO at Generali Central Life Insurance, Rajeev focuses on strengthening the company’s financial performance, driving growth, and ensuring the company’s financial resilience. Sunil Kapoor is a seasoned risk management executive with over two decades of experience across India’s leading financial institutions, including Generali Central Life Insurance, SBI Capital Markets, HDFC Life Insurance & IDFC Bank. As the Chief Risk Officer at Generali Central Life Insurance, he leads the company’s Risk and Information Security functions, ensuring robust governance, regulatory alignment, and resilience in a dynamic financial landscape. In recognition of his outstanding leadership and innovation in risk management, Mr. Kapoor was recently conferred with the CRO of the Year Award at the India Insurance Summit & Awards, 2025. Mr. Kapoor has previously served as SVP & Group Chief Risk Officer at SBI Capital Markets, where he oversaw risk management across the investment banking arm of the State Bank of India and its three financial services subsidiaries. At HDFC Life Insurance, he led the Enterprise Risk Management function and was also officiated as Chief Risk Officer for its pension subsidiary.
